This marks my 8 th year as a walker and Champion level fundraiser for the
Alzheimer’s Association. My wife Darlene passed two and half years ago after s battle with memory loss that spanned well over seventeen years. During that yime, I relied on the services that the Alzheimer’s Association and local support groups provided. Understanding better how to care for Darlene as well as myself was invaluable in the journey. Today as the ALZ "HERD” continues to grow we need the continuing support from the “PROS” on a nationwide level and local level.
As a local caregiver support group member we rely on the support that the Alzheimer's Association makes available. I am a proud member of the Memory Marchers team is our efforts to raise funds as part of the Walk on 9/11/22. Last year the
Team raised over $30,000. which included my matching donation. I have used the code TODAAT (TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME) in my support efforts
