Alzheimer’s disease is relentless. So are we. Join our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
In 2016, Carroll Dean Newingham lost his battle with Alzheimer's. He was diagnosed in 2007. It was a very painful journey.
He was the reason this team was formed. Now our mother Elizabeth has Alzheimer's. My sister and I are fighting this disease. It is not an easy fight either. It is a very costly battle: not just in dollars spent, but in lives lost. I can't bring back my dad, but I can continue to fight for his memory. Please help us to raise money and awareness to battle Alzheimer's, and find the first survivor.
Please join our team in any way you can. Even if you are not able to attend the walk, you can educate your friends and family, and raise awareness for this life robbing disease. If you are not able to walk with us, you can be a "virtual" team walker. This means you are a part of Team Carroll Dean, you just aren't here on walk day.
