We are walking in memory of our mom, who passed away on September 11, 2001 after suffering from Alzheimer's disease for over 10 years. By participating in the 2022 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, we are committed to the fight against the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death. This year we will be walking on October 2nd at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake.
Currently, more than 6.2 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this devastating disease.
We need your support to do our part! Please make a tax-deductible donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
This is the 22nd year we will be participating in the Alzheimer's Walk . Since our first Walk our Team has raised over $245,000.00 and last year we raised over $21,000.00 This year we would like to raise another $10,000.00. With the continued support of you, our generous family and friends, we are confident that we can reach our goal. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity and remember, the end of Alzheimer's starts here!
