It has been almost 9 years since I lost my beloved wife of 56 wonderful years to Alzheimer's.  In June of this year, we would have celebrated our 65th anniversary.  I walk, in Eileen's memory, to raise funds and awareness so that future generations will not know the pain of helplessly watching the person they love most in this world succumb to this terrible disease. I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support.

Every 65 seconds someone in the US continues to develop Alzheimer's and 1 out of 3 Americans will continue to die from Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. The need is as great as ever.

Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

I need your support. Please make a donation, in Eileen's memory, to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's.  For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
