This marks my 8th year I am walking in memory of my Dad, Rev. Dr. Carlton J Curtin. He was diagnosed 2014 and I have walked in his honor ever since. Before my Father Alzheimer's Association was just that, an association to me. Now it is my passion. To have watched my Dad, someone who taught me how to ride a bike, to skip, to speak in front of audiences, to laugh and to love is now unfortunately just memories I hold close to my heart.
I walk for my Dad and anyone suffering from this horrific disease. Together we CAN make a difference. We WILL find a cure. If you can't join me team "Memories Matter" please donate. Every $1 helps.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
