I will be walking in honor of one of the sweetest individuals I know, my inspiring, giving and beautiful mother-in-law May Joyce. May was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in her late 50’s and has confronted this terrible disease with grace and courage. There is nothing that brings May more happiness than helping others, now it is our turn to follow her example.

A couple of quick facts about the disease, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s and 1 in 3 seniors die with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.
