For me, it's a passion. Being a part of the fight. Keeping my efforts driven toward ensuring the first survivor is seen during my children's lifetime. Paving a way to provide even more support and resources to the caregivers -- our heroes. My family has been deeply affected by Alzheimer's and dementia and this year is particularly important as it's the year of my late father's 100th birthday. Join me in the cause!
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
