I participated in this event for the first time ever in October 2022. I was able to support those in my life that go through this tragic disease on a regular basis. I’m proud to do this event all over again in September 2023! I’m an advocate for the older adult population because I’m a caregiver at Bickford in Tinley Park and I take care of my grandpa on my mom’s side of the family from time to time. I was a former caregiver at Heartis Village in Orland Park as well.

I have my bachelors degree from Eastern Illinois University in Human Services Community Leadership with a minor in Aging Studies. I’m furthering my education now to become a therapeutic recreational specialist. This field will concentrate on those suffering with Alzheimer’s Disease too. Let’s bring Alzheimer’s Disease to an end! Thank you for your time.
