The news of our dad's diagnosis of Alzheimer's with dementia changed our lives. Dad is forgetting things, he's lost confidence, and he gets confused more than ever... but he always remembers our faces and how much he loves us, and constantly reminds us of how proud he is of us. It brings me to tears to think about losing my goofy, caring, strong, and loving father to Alzheimer's, but I know of all things, he will hold on to his love for us as long as he can.
This year Caryn, Donny, and I decided to form a team to raise money Alzheimer's research and support for those affected by this terrible disease. Please consider supporting Don's Kids in walking to fight for an end to Alzheimer's!

I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
