Our mother/grandmother/great grandmother had Alzheimer’s and she passed on March 9, 2022 . I was truly blessed  that I was able to see her daily these last three years with her living at the  Harmony Center which is part of Odd Fellow Rebekah in Mattoon, where  I work . She received excellent care and the staff became her “second family” she was able to enjoy her days with family and friends ; not only with our love and support but those around her at Harmony Center that cared for her as well.  Another blessing came along side with Lincolnland Hospice joining in on mom’s care in those final few days of her Alzheimer’ battle. Our family has lost two of my mother’s siblings to Alzheimer’s. We  have shared our hearts with friends and other families who are walking beside their families  with Alzheimer’s too. Thank you for your prayers and kind words we so appreciate you. This year has changed in how this walk is done but not in how we battle for the cure!
