My mother passed away in December 2022, after living with advanced Alzheimer's disease for several years. Mom had a lovely visit with her dear friend Eunice a week before she died. The look of recognition and joy on mom's face when she saw Eunice is something that I will never forget! The following week mom started sleeping more and more. She was put on hospice care and she passed away peacefully shortly thereafter. Mom was well-loved and well taken care of and for that I am eternally grateful!
My sister Jeanne works for the Alzheimer's Association and we know how effective it is in accelerating Alzheimer's research toward prevention and effective treatment and at helping individuals and families live their best lives possible in the face of dementia.
