Walk Day FAQs:

• All participants should register prior to Walk day using this site.
• Parking is available around the square with time limits.  There is public parking behind the Pizzeria.  Please be curtious to the Farmers Market and do not park in front of their area on N Lafayette Street.
• Please take some time after our walk to visit the Famer's Market with your proud Purple on.
• All children must be registered.  Strollers, wheelchairs and wagons are welcome.
• The Walk route and festivities are outdoors — please plan accordingly.
• T-shirts are all mailed before the to walk day
• The quickest and most efficient way to record donations (credit card or CHECK) is to use the mobile app.  You may also mail checks to Alzheimer's Association Illinois Chapter, 2200 Cabot Drive, Suite 460, Lisle, IL 60532.  Please include "Walk Event Name/Your Team Name" in the memo section. 
• Donations will be taken on Walk day via mobile payment and cash/check dropbox. This will delay the process of seeing your donation on the website.

The land on which the Alzheimer’s Association Macomb Walk to End Alzheimer's will take place on includes the traditional homelands of the Cahokia, Kaskaskia, Michigamea, Peoria, and Tamaroa, Dakota, Delaware, Kickapoo, Ottawa, Potawatomi, Sac and Fox, and Wyandot Nations. By acknowledging the land, we recognize that it holds significance for its original stewards: the Native Nations and peoples of the region. We acknowledge the ground on which our Walk to End Alzheimer's will take place on so that all who work and partner with us know that we recognize our responsibilities to the peoples of that land and that we strive to address that history so that it guides our work in the present and the future.

The Alzheimer's Association recognizes the importance of remembering which is why we remember and honor the original stewards of the lands we Walk to End Alzheimer's on.
