It's something Grandma Harriet would always say when you left a family gathering. As a kid, we always made our rounds to each aunt, uncle, cousin and distant relative and gave them hugs and said "I love you!". When you got to Grandma though, and you gave her a hug and said "I love you!", she would always respond back with "I love you more!".
Grandma Harriet struggled with Alzheimers many years before we created our group a year ago and walked in her honor. At 94 she was never well enough to walk with us, but we made sure to honor her presence as if she was with us. In November 2022, we lost grandma Harriet. We will continue to walk each year in her honor and anytime anyone asks us why Team Love you more as a name, we'll just smile and share stories of how Grandma was.
Grandma Harriet: Wherever you are, know that your family loves you more and that we miss you deeply. You are, and always will be, in our hearts. Love you more!
