I'm leading the way along with family and friends to find a cure for Alzheimer's by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. This disease has touched me and our family on a personal level. My mother (Peggy Arnold) recently passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and other health complications. Several years ago, my Uncle Jack McCoy passed away with Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s. Mom and Uncle Jack were the best of friends and they are dearly missed. We are walking to honor both of them and all of the other individuals and families who are suffering from this devastating disease. We are walking to find a cure.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please join the Forget Me Nots and/or make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's! Your efforts are a blessing to so many.
You can donate by clicking the Donate Button below or by making a check out to the Alzheimer’s Association and mailing it to me for deposit.
