My husband, Tom suffered with Alzheimer’s for nearly 10 years. He died in January of last year. Watching him lose his ability to communicate and spend meaningful time with those that he loved was excruciating to watch. I felt helpless. I can no longer help Tom, but hopefully I can help someone else.
