The Pilot Club of Cochran is starting early this year with our first donation coming from Bleckley County Primary School.  The kids have been bringing in their pennies to put into the Wishing Well since November 1st.  The members of the Pilot Club counted those pennies throughout December with several coin wrapping parties and the total was over $2,500!  There was amazing participation from the school and the winning class in each grade received a pizza party!

Each year, the Walk to End Alzheimer's has a campaign to bring awareness to the ongoing development of Alzheimers and other dementias.  These may be caregivers, spouses, children, or complete strangers that want to help in the effort to find a cure! All funds raised through this walk further the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association and stay in the Middle Georgia area.

Being a part of an awareness campaign can be quite fulfilling. If you would like to be a part of our Middle Georgia group walking for the cure, please go onto the website . Join my team, the Pilot Club of Cochran, or sign up individually. If you cannot walk, contact any Pilot Club member who will be happy to collect your donations. Invest in a future without Alzheimer's and make a difference in the lives of those facing dementia.
