It's that time again! This is my twelfth year participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's! Last year, I was the featured speaker at the opening ceremony for our Southern Crescent Walk. It was a pleasure and an honor to share my story! My best friend, sorority sister, daughter accompanied me to the Walk.
My dear sweet sister was diagnosed several years ago, so the Walk is very personal for me. I remain committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support. Last year, with your help, I raised over $5000. You probably know someone who has this insidiously cruel disease. If you do, you know the impact it has in the lives of families. Please help me to help advance the research for a cure!
