Our Mom's journey of fighting this disease ended on April 1, 2021. She fought a long, hard fight. Though some days the confusion was there, I am so grateful she knew us till the end. Bringing awareness is so near and dear to my heart. It is hard to lose your Mom twice!

This will be the 12th year I have participated in the Alzheimer's Walk. Mom was diagnosed in 2011 with a combination of Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia.

I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
