I am walking to honor my late grandmother, Hazel Wall, or as some of you knew her as “Double Waffle”. If you knew my Grandma, you would remember that she lit up every room that she was in with her smile and laugh. She loved God with her whole heart and sang her heart out every Sunday, whether she could carry a tune or not! She always demonstrated unconditional love to all of us grand-kids, and we miss her everyday!

Seeing my grandparents go through their final days in this life had such a strong personal impact on me. It's one of the many reasons that I made a career change to work in an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting. Interacting with our extraordinary residents has provided me with so much joy- each and every day!
