Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
In March 2020, I lost my mother, Mary Morrison to this dreaded disease. My family and I saw first hand how it effects not only the person with Alzheimer's, but all those around them. For those out there that have had a friend or loved one effected by this disease, you know what I am talking about. Many (including myself before I watched my mother decline) think that Alzheimer's is just forgetting who people are.....that's not even close. I now tell people that's about phase 1 of 10 that they may experience. That's why I choose to help fight this until we find a cure.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
