I'm walking in memory of my mother and to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® and other dementias, through my volunteer work as an advocate, an Alzheimer's Association Ambassador, on the Board of Directors GA Alz Chapter, and a proud member of ALPHA DELTA KAPPA, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support.
Alzheimer's disease is the sixth leading cause of death in our country. More than 6.5 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and 1 in 3 seniors dying with Alzheimer's or another dementia. Almost two-thirds of Americans with Alzheimer's are women. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
