Alzheimer's is such a terrible disease and I've watched it take too many loved ones. No one should have to lose three grandparents to Alzheimer's, so I am determined to make a difference for my daughter and the generations that come after her so they don't have to.
We have recently moved into the era of treatment for Alzheimer's - there are now two FDA approved drugs with more in the pipeline. These drugs show promise - they increase the length of time someone with Alzheimer's can function independently and create new memories with loved ones.
One day people will survive Alzheimer's because of the dollars we raise today. Please join me in helping to create a world of memories that truly last a lifetime!
