In November, I will be participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's.  I do this walk in honor of my mother, who is in the very late stages of this disease, and my father, who continues to be her primary caregiver.  What started off as a diagnosis almost a decade ago has turned into a full time daily struggle as mom no longer recognizes her four children and struggles with the most basic activities, such as walking.  

Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
