Alzheimer's disease isn't stopping and neither are we. Currently more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer’s and that number is expected to grow to 16 million by 2050.

On November 19, we will be walking in the Miami Walk to End Alzheimer's, in honor of our sister, Maria Celeste Beguiristain Shohat, who passed away in 2021 from Early Onset Alzheimer’s. We invite you to join us as we continue to support the mission of the Alzheimer's  Association to find a cure for Alzheimer's and all other dementias.

Thanks to your support and the fundraising efforts of so many we have made great strides in research and support. In September 2022 results were shared from a phase 3 trial of a new treatment, Lecanemab. The data showed a 27% reduction in cognitive decline in people living with early Alzheimer's disease. This is amazing progress that could mean more time for those facing Alzheimer's and their loved ones. Such promising and exciting news is
cause for celebration, but we must continue to support the Alzheimer's Association in order to find a cure for this devastating disease.
