Roberta (often called Bobbie) and I have celebrated our 59th wedding anniversary – forever in love and grateful for each other. Our five children and seven grandchildren, with us in Vermont just before the New Year, are always nearby with love and help. That is a great gift.

This is our fifth year since Bobbie’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Yes, there are changes, but also much good. Our youngest child, Dana, continues to be my Alzheimer’s Walk companion and teammate.

We know we are blessed in many ways, beginning with family and friends, and great medical help. There is no shortage of people we know with greater challenges.

Dana and I raise all we can for research that some day will mean a cure for others. You can help make that happen.
