The B'nai Israel Senior Youth (BISY) Youth Group entered a fundraising competition with the Temple Beth El Teens (BOFTY). Both teams fundraised and the group that raised the most money got to pick the organization to which the donation would go. With BISY raising the most money, the teens decided to donate the money to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of the Rabbi Emeritus's wife who lost her fight in a battle with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) and Frontotemporal Degeneration. We are honored to bring awareness to such an important issue and are grateful to Temple Beth El for participating in this competition with us. Together, we can make this disease history.
