We lost a fantastic mother, sister, aunt, and friend in August 2018 at 62 after being diagnosed at 52 with early-onset Alzheimer's. Alzheimer's is a horrible disease that wipes a person of all their memories and connection to life. Watching her deteriorate over a decade was unbearable to witness. Imagine no longer recognizing your children and family or not remembering how to walk, talk, chew and swallow, or use the bathroom.
