My best friend since middle school Marcy Kaplan Gold has early on set Alzheimer's. Her diagnosis in her 50s was heartbreaking as she has twin college aged daughters and has led a beautiful, vibrant life with her family in Los Angeles.
We must find a cure to this awful, life stealing disease. I am raising money to help find Alzheimer's first SURVIVOR by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can help find a cure and provide better resources to caregivers and those who suffer from Alzheimer's.
