I'm walking for my Abuelito who suffered of Alzheimer's. He was diagnosed in 2012 and he lost his battle to this disease on July 6th, 2022.
I began getting involved with the Tampa Walk to End Alzheimer's in an effort to raise awareness and funds for research that would make a difference. My biggest wish is to find a cure so that other families do not have to go through what we did.
I am very passionate about this cause. I have formed walk teams since 2015 and this will be the fifth year that I'm an active member of the Tampa Walk to End Alzheimer's Committee.
I would love for you to join me this year. Making a donation also helps the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
