This is a cause that has become very personal for my family.  It affects not only the one suffering but the ones who care for them as well.  It is difficult to watch and care for someone who can't recall the simplest of things or to see the confusion when they don't understand the who, what, or where. I'm walking to help reclaim the future for millions from this devasting disease. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
