It is time I got started this year on my fundraising for Alzheimer's. 2023 is going to be a better year.
Each year I tell you the story of my mother’s family, and ask you to honor the caregiver like my wonderful husband Ronnie was, but this year I would ask all my friends and FAMILY to step up. More people are diagnosed with this horrible disease each and everyday. Those of us who are “Baby Boomers” need to be aware of the signs to watch for. I lost a dear friend last year and she was not much older than me. I lost other family members and know of distance family members who have it and pray for his wife everyday as she cares for him. These family persons were and are on both the Hayes(Rosser) and Yearty side. No family can expect to be cleared of Alzheimer’s.
I know want the Alzheimer's Association does in finding the cure. Also what they do in helping the familys who are going through the process of someone having the disease. The Association gives back 78% toward finding a cure. To me that is an overwhelming amount. Won't you please give and help us find a cure. I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R). Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
