This year, I'm walking for Steve Phelps. When I moved to Florida in 2005 and joined Edward Jones, Steve was our Regional Leader, as well as my mentor, and my friend. He and his branch have lead the Edward Jones Space Coast team as long as we've participated in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Last year Steve called me and asked me to do more to help in this fight. Though at that time he was suffering from terminal cancer, he said "this is important to our clients and our firm, so it's important to me." We raised more money last year than we ever had, and were the top fundraising team on the Space Coast. To honor Steve and continue his legacy, I'm working even harder this year to end Alzheimer's.
