Several years ago I found out I was following in the footsteps of my Mom, Grandma and several uncles.
I am progressing in my Alzheimer's journey and I know what's ahead of me and it scares me! This disease not only affects the person with the disease but also their family and friends! I need your help now, more than ever!
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
When I started this journey I joined a drug trial at Mayo Clinic. I improved during the trial and set my goal at being the First Survivor of Alzheimer's. If I can't have that honor then I would love to hug the person that is and thank them for being the first of many survivors!
