I have been participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's for several years now, alongside my trusted sidekicks Robert and Beth. This year we are planning ahead, forming a team, and hoping all who are able will JOIN OUR TEAM and/or make a donation supporting our team! 

Anyone who has been touched by this disease knows that it affects far more than just the individual; Alzheimer's impacts the loved one's entire family unit. In 2022, I spent 12-days shy of half the year with my mom, across nine cross country trips. My commitment to her care and the quality of her life is matched by my brother and his family's on-the-ground daily care. I would not be able to do any of this without the benefits available to me as the daughter of United Airlines retirees, especially my Dad. Nor would this be possible without the incredible love and support of my partner in life, Robert. And ultimately, providing for Mom continues through the deferral of my career and personal life goals. It takes a village!
