Last year, I returned from Bolivia, registered for the Walk to End Alzheimer's, and blew past my fundraising goal in just 48 hours, thanks to the unbelievable support of my family and friends!
This year, I am taking a different approach and starting out well in advance of the October 7, 2023 walk date. I am also excited to be part of the National Capital Area Chapter's planning committee for the walk.
I hope this advance notice will allow for an even greater showing of support. In the months leading up to the walk, I will be hosting various events to help raise funds, including a bake sale featuring all sorts of homemade NCC treats. Also, my top donor will get to choose an occasion of their choice for which I will design a custom NCC card!
I am walking for my Mom, my beloved (paternal) Grandmother Helen who also had Alzheimer's, and my (maternal) Uncle Art...and too many others! I am walking for my and my brother's future also.
