I am helping to raise money for the Walk to End Alzheimer's thru TEAM MCS.
TEAM MCS honors MARY C. SMITH and other mothers who have died or who are suffering from this terrible disease. Mary C. Smith was my mother and my family physically lost her in 2015. She was a nurturer of everyone she met and a pillar in our community.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
