In late August, a group of people connected at the JCC in Sherman through an amazing one-woman show "Mother and Me" featuring writer and performer, Melinda Buckley. The result of the evening was a seed donation and the formation of the JCC Superstars - a team in support of the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. The walk is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research and we are so thrilled to be a part of it. The JCC Superstars will be walking on September 30th in New Milford! The course is very easy to navigate - and there are opportunities to cheer others on if walking is not an option for you!
