Mark was diagnosed with Atypical Younger Onset Alzheimer's Disease when he was 56. He faced this devastating disease with grace and dignity, and everyday he kept a smile on his face. We became involved with the Alzheimer's Association by attending support groups, social engagement groups, taking education classes, speaking at fundraisers, meeting with local, regional and national legislators and speaking anywhere and everywhere we were asked. We participated in and supported Walk to End Alzheimer's. I now work as the Program Director for the North Central Region for the CT Chapter and couldn't be more proud of the opportunities I have to provide education, information and support to those living with Alzheimer's Disease and all dementia and those who care for them! Please help us help those who are impacted!
Although we won't be able to dance together in person this year, stay tuned.....
