Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
This cause is very close to my heart. Our family has been affected many times over the years. This year I am fundraising in honor of my sister-in law , Linda Lenz, Bob's sister, who was a loyal supporter of our cause and then was affected by Alzheimer's disease herself and passed away this year., far too young and vibrant a person to have been stricken with this disease. I also am honoring and remembering my cousin Sue Morris, Dolph and Audrey Traymon, beloved founders of the Fife 'n Drum restaurant in Kent, my mother Dorothy, Bob's mother Viola, Michael's grandmother Minnie and the many families now facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementias. These families need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation on my page or register as a participant on the Fife n Drum team.
