This year I am again lending a hand on the walk committee, participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's disease and I'm hoping you will join me! Many of you already know that after loosing my mom and father-in-law my page is now "In Memory" of both Sally & George and the many others who's life's memories have been lost... I continue the fight in hopes that one day, the memories we make truly will last a lifetime.
Currently, more than 5.8 million American's have Alzheimer's/Dementia with 80,000 right here in CT and that number is expected to climb to as many as 14 million by 2050. It is the 6th leading cause of death and 1 in 3 seniors will pass due to ALZ or other dementia related illness.
