Alzheimer's has affected our family for the last 7 years. Mom and Dad were both diagnosed within a short time of each other, which wasn't unusual for these two. they were born six days apart and passed away two months from each other. We lost dad in January and Mom on April 1. It has been a long journey, but through our faith we know that they are together once again where they will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary in heaven. I hope to live to see a cure for this disease that took 2 wonderful people away from us too soon.
