I'm walking in and on the volunteer committee for the Rocky Mountain Walk to End Alzheimer's in honor of my dad. We lost him two years ago this September but I remember the years leading up to his passing and how sad it was to see him decline. Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Please walk with me on Sept. 24 at Brush Creek Park in Eagle or donate to help us advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease.
