This past year, I have witnessed my Mom going through a severe regression as a result of Alzheimer’s disease. We have had to transition her five times since October when she lived at home independently. She has been in a hospital for nearly a month, skilled nursing for nearly a month, assisted living for about three months, board and care home for about two months, and just initiated hospice care in the last few weeks. This year, more than ever, I have a deep passion to raise money for hopefully finding a cure for this awful disease. Will you help me and my Mom try find the cure?
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R). Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
