Over 5.2 million people in the US are suffering from  Alzheimer’s.  Last year 15 million family members spent over 17 billion hours caring for their loved ones with this terrible disease.  These statistics are staggering, and without a cure in sight these numbers will dramatically increase. 

Muriel Smith, was plagued with this debilitating disease for years.  It was very difficult to watch our mother “disappear”.  On June 15, 2012 we lost our Mom and to honor her, we want to help others by participating in events to raise money to find a cure.
