Alzheimer's disease became a part of my life in 2015, via a phone call about my Mom having unusual behavior. From that day on, life for our family and Momma changed like a rollercoaster ride.
I learned a lot trying to care for Mom, but I didn't learn enough. Now, I am proud to be leading the Fresno-Madera Walk to End Alzheimer's as their new staff person. In the short time I have been here I have learned so much about the endless services that the Alzheimer's Association offers to ALL.
It's an exciting time to be a part of the Walk to End Alzheimer's and the Alzheimer's Association. New drugs and early treatments are being discovered and fast-tracked to make the ALZ Mission a reality: "A world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia."
You can join me in the battle by joining my team or creating your own team, or by supporting my team. Volunteers are always needed and appreciated too!
Thank you for your consideration to join in the fight to End Alz.
