Team Stacey was formed in 2017, the year our daughter, Stacey Voorhees Harmon, learned, at the age of 40, that she had Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease. Sadly, Stacey passed away on May 3, 2021.
Stacey grew up in San Ramon, graduating from California High School and San Jose State University. She lived in Lake Mary, Florida, with her husband, Keith Harmon and their two little boys, Sean (Age 11) and Jack (Age 8). Stacey was brave, courageous and vowed to live each day to the fullest and with her ever present smile, she did just that. We are grateful to her husband, Keith, for the loving care he provided for her. We all miss her so much.
Stacey and her family are our inspiration for participating in the Alzheimer's Association's "Walk to End Alzheimer's" supporting their goal "to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health." We appreciate the Alzheimer’s Association for the support shown to our family.
The East Bay Walk to End Alzheimer's date is Saturday morning, October 29, 2022. Team Stacey will be walking in Stacey's memory, and we hope you will join us - please sign up to be a part of Team Stacey and/or make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association/TeamStacey by clicking the link below, Thank you for your support.
