My first experience with Alzheimers was when my mother-in-law was diagnosed. She was an amazing woman, and handled her illness with grace, humor, and dignity. I've since been witness to many other friends and family members on their journey with Alzheimers. I am presently caregiver to my husband, who has been living with the disease for at least ten years. Like his mother, he has an amazingly positive attitude. He's accepted the hand he's been dealt in the same way that his mother did, with acceptance, dignity, and humor. He is an inspiration to me, and to many others. . The ceremony will be held before the walk at the Adorni center in Eureka, CA. on October 14th. I hope you wi ll show your support by joining our Team this year. You don't have to walk with us to be a member of our Team.
