As a caregiver for my mother during the last 8 years of her life, my passion for raising awareness in our community about Alzheimer's and other dementia hasn't stopped.
It's been rewarding serving as a facilitator for our Solano County Alzheimer's Dementia Caregiver Support Group for the past 15 years. Caregivers are especially challenged seeking to maintain some quality of life for their care partners while safeguarding their own health and well being. They deserve so much support.
