Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

My Grandma Lucy, suffered many years with Alzheimer's, I had the honor of caring for her in late stage, the last 4 years of her life. The effect that had on me, will last a lifetime. So much, that after my grandparents passed away, I changed my career and focused on Senior and Memory Care, for that was now my purpose. This disease strips you from your beautiful memories, and your most basic functions.  My Grandma was a mother to 6 children, 3 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and all became strangers to her before she passed.
