This is me and my dad from a recent cross country road trip to provide respite for my family. He has a great smile! We consider ourselves fortunate: my sister is the primary care provider/coordinator at our family home along with my brothers and day care a few times a week...it takes a team! This arrangement is not always the case for all families, but frequent communication seems to keep us supporting our dad and his increasing day-to-day challenges. He has been struggling with Alzheimer's for over seven years. Well, Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. My End Alzheimer's Walk is Saturday October 14th, 2023 in Eureka, California. It would mean the world to me if you could support this cause afflicting so many families. Together we can end Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you!
